Product Description:

Each packet has 125 little tooth tablets, that’s about a 2 month supply for one person. We also sell them in bulk in our refillery, so when you fall in love, you can fill and refill a personal container.

  • Unpaste Tooth Tab packets are offered with fluoride or fluoride-free
  • All tabs are free of sulfates, preservatives, sodium saccharin, artificial colors + aluminum

###

Ingredients/Materials:

Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium bicarbonate, silica, sodium lauryl glutamate, magnesium stearate, natural mint flavor from essential oil, menthol, xanthan gum, stevia, citric acid

###

Use + Care:

Unpaste tablets work best with a soft toothbrush. Crush one tablet between your teeth until a paste is created, wet your toothbrush and start brushing like any conventional toothpaste. Spit and rinse!

###

The Business:

Unpaste took the plastic waste and harsh chemicals out of oral care. They created a natural, effective and convenient product that will satisfy any dentist. Unpaste Tooth Tabs are BDIH certified by the Aktion-zahnfreundlich e.v., the German organization that reviews oral hygiene products as safe and effective.

###

End Life:

Certified compostable packet. Transfer the tabs to a resealable container and the empty packet can be tossed in your curbside green bin or your home compost.

Still love them after a couple of years. Using twice a day with that brand-name water flosser. Glowing reports after semi-annual dental hygienist teeth cleanings. Convenient for home and travel, no airport hassles. How much left? Just count! Tastes good. Much less waste. Might be the only tablets available with fluoride.

I'm happy I got to give these a try since I was curious. I think they got the job done and seem really convenient for traveling/backpacking. There are 3 things I don't like about them however: 1) They are way more dry and powdery than I thought they would be. They felt uncomfortable on my tongue and made me salivate (aka drool!!!) like crazy! 2) They don't foam as much as I am used to, and I feel like I am not spreading everything out over my teeth as evenly. I chew the tablet to activate it on one side of my mouth, so that's definitely clean. But I feel like the other side of my mouth is missing out and I can't transfer over. 3) The mint is SUPER strong. Too strong, and it really stays with you. Because of all these things I won't be using them daily but I will use them for travel.

I recently started using these Tooth Tabs and am surprised at how quickly and easily I got used to them, they've won me over. Give one tab a slight chew with some saliva, wet your brush (I use an ultrasonic brush), and they dissolve very quickly, foam up just a little, and do their job well. The downsides are that they're a bit too minty (why is it always mint?) and sweet for my taste, and they're made in Germany, which means a significant carbon footprint shipping them here, so I'd prefer ones made closer to home.
