Reusable Swedish Dishcloths

$7.00
These incredible dishcloths are an eco-friendly alternative to sponges and paper towels. If you’re looking for a multi-purpose kitchen swap that’ll help you cut down on kitchen waste, these cloths are your friend. Wet them, wipe, set them to dry and reuse

Product Description:

One Swedish dishcloth absorbs 20x its weight, lasts over 200 uses and replaces 17 rolls of paper towels in its lifetime. Use your dishcloth to wash dishes, clean the counters, wipe up spills, or on those deep-cleaning days!

###

Ingredients/Materials:

Swedish dishcloths are made of 70% cellulose from FSC certified forests and 30% cotton. The dishcloths are hand screen-printed with water-based ink.

###

Use + Care:

Great for cleaning the kitchen, bathroom or any household chores! These dishcloths leave counters streak-free and work incredibly well on surfaces like glass, granite, tile and stainless steel. Depending on the level of dampness, Swedish dishcloths can air dry within 24 hours, unlike a typical sponge.

Their ability to dry quickly helps to prevent the breeding of bacteria. Swedish dishcloths are recommended to be used with water, soap or cleaning sprays. You can wash them in the top rack of your dishwasher, washing machine, or boil them to sterilize. Do not tumble dry. To help extend the life of your Swedish dishcloth, they can be cut into smaller rectangles to be split across multiple chores and air dried between uses.

###

The Business:

Potluck Press is a woman-owned and led business based in Seattle, WA.

###

End Life:

You can throw your old and finished cloths in your home compost once they’ve lost their light. We recommend you cut them into smaller pieces to speed up the breakdown.

What a simple and effective way of reducing my households paper towel usage. I love that it dries up after each use, and I can cut it up and throw in my compost bin when I've used it up. I mainly use it for spills, our countertops, and the stove. It absorbs wayyyyy more than paper towels. 10/10 recommend.

I bought the otter dish cloth for my grandmother as a birthday gift. She absolutely loves it and uses it every day to wipe down her tables and countertops. It makes her so happy, and after 6 months of use it is still going strong!
