Reusable Facial Rounds, Set of 20

$18.00
Twenty cotton flannel rounds that do exactly what cotton balls do, except you wash them and use them again for years. Works with whatever toner, micellar water, or remover you already own.

Product Description:

Cotton balls are a thing you buy forever. These aren't. Twenty 3-inch rounds of 2-ply cotton flannel, edges sewn so they don't fray in the wash, and one set replaces thousands of disposable pads over its life. Soft enough for under your eyes, with enough texture to lift stubborn mascara. Use them with toner, micellar water, or an oil cleanser. Heads up: they aren't pre-washed, so expect a little shrinkage the first time through. Prints vary, so yours won't match the photo exactly.

###

Ingredients:

2-ply 100% cotton flannel (Gossypium) - soft against the thin skin around your eyes, absorbent enough to hold product instead of pushing it around your face, and breathable so it dries fast between washes. Sewn edges - keeps them from fraying or unraveling through years of wash cycles instead of coming apart after a month. [NEED: thread fiber content - Marley's Monsters does not publish it]

###

How to use:

Wet one, add your toner or remover, and go. For eye makeup, hold it in place a few seconds before you wipe so you aren't dragging at your lashes. Keep a clean stack somewhere handy and a small jar or bag for the used ones. Machine wash warm with like colors and dry in the dryer. A mesh laundry bag is worth having, these are small and they love to hide inside sleeves.

###

The Business:

Marley's Monsters is a woman-owned US manufacturer in Eugene, Oregon, started by Sarah Dooley in 2013 while she was on maternity leave. Everything is sewn in-house, fabric offcuts get felted into other products or donated to local upcycling nonprofits, and orders ship plastic-free.

###

End Life:

These last years, not weeks, so the first move is demotion. When a round gets too thin or too stained for your face, it still works for nail polish remover, shoe polish, or dusting. When it's genuinely done, it's cotton flannel, so cut it up and compost it or send it to textile recycling. The packaging it ships in is recyclable or compostable, so that goes straight in the bin or the pile.
