PlanetBox Insulated Hot or Cold Food Container
Product Description:
Soup that is still hot at noon, or yogurt that is still cold. Vacuum insulation holds either for up to 12 hours, so lunch does not depend on a microwave being free. The lid twists on and seals leakproof, which matters when it is rattling around the bottom of a backpack. 10oz, 6.3 inches tall, 0.7 pounds empty. Made from 71% certified recycled 304 stainless steel with an LFGB silicone seal. A decorative magnet comes on the lid, and it swaps out for any of PlanetBox's others.
###
Ingredients:
Food-grade 71% certified recycled 304 stainless steel with LFGB silicone seal and lead-free solder. Free from lead, PVC, phthalates, and BPA.
###
How to use:
Handwash this one, PlanetBox does not recommend the dishwasher. For the longest hold, fill it with hot or cold water for a few minutes, dump that, then add your food. The opening runs on the narrow side, so a long spoon beats a short one and small kids may want a hand with the twist lid at first.
###
The Business:
PlanetBox makes reusable lunch gear from recycled and thoughtfully sourced materials, with no single-use plastic.
###
End Life:
Stainless steel is endlessly recyclable and can go to scrap metal. The silicone seal cannot go curbside, but PlanetBox sells spare parts, so a worn gasket does not retire the container. Covered by a 5 year warranty.
