Use + Care:

Small load  – 1/2, 1 TB to 1 oz, 2TB of detergent
Medium load  – 1 oz, 2TB to 2 oz, 4TB of detergent
Large load – 2 oz, 4 TB of detergent

16 oz- 32 TB 

32 oz- 64 TB

We do NOT recommend overfilling your laundry tub with clothes.  It is best to work with a medium size load and about 1 oz of detergent.  This way your laundry tumbles/swishes around in the tub and gets plenty of water and detergent on all the garments to ensure a proper cleaning.

When to use Hot Water
Hot water is good for whites, typical dirty clothes, sweaty active wear and diapers. Hot water is best to remove germs, kill dust mites and heavily soiled items.

When to use Warm Water
Warm water  is good for cleaning most man-made fibers, knits and jeans.  It will clean without fading or significant shrinking.

When to use Cold Water
Cold water is best for dark, bright colors that bleed or delicate fabrics.  Pre-treat or pre-soak your clothes if items are heavily soiled.

Because this detergent readily breaks down after use, it is safe to use anywhere…..camping, adventuring, RVing, hiking, traveling abroad, or just at home our detergent will do the job! It is color-safe, septic-safe, and gray-water-safe. The rinse water is not toxic to aquatic life. Compatible with he (high efficiency) or standard machines.

Delivery and Pick Up:

All refills are available for pick-up at both our locations. Restrictions apply for Santa Cruz local deliveries, and shipments please see How We Deliver Locally + Ship for more information.

Dry Refills:

Dry refills are packaged in paper bags and the product should be transferred to an air-tight container at home. 

Liquid Refills: 

Liquids are packaged in a mason jar, the product can be transferred to a dispenser of your own, or you may purchase a dispenser from us separately with your order.

You will be charged a $3 deposit for each mason jar used for delivery, that you may recycle, continue reusing, or be returned in-person to one of our storefront shops for either: a donation to the Plastic Pollution Coalition OR get your deposit back in cash.

For shipping orders we ask you not purchase more than 8 oz of each liquid refill.
