These deodorants, packaged in compostable tubes, are a favorite. Locally made using organic plant oils and butters to moisturize and condition, preventing odor with magnesium hydroxide.

Ingredients: arrowroot powder,* extra virgin coconut oil,* sunflower oil,* shea,* magnesium oxide, beeswax.* ∞ local  * organic 

South Slope: essential oils of lavender,* geranium* and ylang ylang.* 

Royal Grove: essential oils of bergamot* frankincense* and manuka

Mystic Forest:  essential oils of bay laurel* cardamom and cypress.*  *organic  ∞local

How to use: Carefully, using firm steady pressure, push center base of tube to raise a small amount of product to the top. If the deodorant is cold and is not easily spreadable, hold between warm hands before application or warm product against skin before application. 

What might you expect when switching from an antiperspirant to a deodorant? It’s not uncommon for the body to go through a detoxification period when switching from an antiperspirant to a non-toxic deodorant. Your body wants to release all those toxins, and does it by sweating them out. The detox period (if any) can last anywhere from 1-5 days or 2-3 weeks depending on the person. It’s important to allow this transition to happen and to not give up on non-toxic deodorant if it doesn't work for your body right away (aka if you still smell bad).

Packaging: Tubes are completely compostable in your home compost bin.
